I don't have problem with Cambodia riches, well, that is capitalism. But I do want to see Cambodia closing the gap between the rich and the poor. Not only it is social responsible government but also it will enable Cambodia to expand economy because of increase in consumer market; more taxes, more jobs and less headache for the government. Don't you think it is a great idea to close the gap for the rich and poor? The world is doing this and why shouldn't Cambodia? Please give me a better reason not to do that....

The children featured in the article are the children of military generals, deputy prime ministers and so on. So where did they get the money from to make them so rich?
They are the children of Gen. Meas Sophea, Sar Kheng, Ke Kimyan etc. And see what the article say about Cham Prasidh's house? It sounds like it is more grand than the White House. Where did he get all the money from? And Hun To with a half a million dollars custom-made car from the U.S. Where did he get the money from?

I think that what is needed is for all Khmers abroad to send this article to their Members of Parliaments and Senators together with the news that Cambodia has just deported 20 Uighur people to China whre they probably will face torture and eventual death, and ask them to stop providing money for Hun Sen's budget as they do every year.
The common expressions seen on this site such as F.... this or mother f....... that, DO NOT HELP CAMBODIA OR THE POOR IN CAMBODIA. Please Khmers abroad grow up and DO SOMETHING for your PEOPLE AND COUNTRY, do not just sit at home and use dirty language to vent you frustration. It is only by concerted and continuous actions that CAMBODIA would be liberated from the Hun Sen mafia.

In today's news paper on the Cambodia Daily talks about the Land Management of Cambodia and you will see where they get the money from. The world bank gave 24.3 for land titling and administration but it mostly went on corruption. The people that live at Beoung Kak Lake has lost their land because of their corruption.52

This is absolutely atrocious and disgusting. This generation have the means and the education to bring Cambodia out of its 3rd world economic status. They have the influence of modern thinking but yet it seems they have the humility of a sewer rat. This is where all the foreign aid money goes, to continue their lavish lifestyle funded on the tears and blood of the poor !
I can slightly try to work my way to understand that the parents are criminal,heartless scum that have no remorse in their actions to steal from your fellow countrymen. But the kids have been educated overseas where their eyes have been open to the world! Where the many flavours and thought of people exist and I am pretty sure some influence of humility and pride !
This articles in short, just makes me simply sad. I can go on and on about having some love for your country men and putting love back into a country still recovering from genocide, but it makes me too angry and I catch myself raving on.
